A leading online casino has decided to back out of the online casinos industry. The once-popular online casino, which bears the brand of one of the world’s top retail stores, closed its doors on March 1st of this year. Although the online casino was prosperous and successful, the owners felt that the ‘uncertain regulatory environment in the online gaming industry’ was good reason to bid farewell to its loyal online gambling fans and seal its virtual doors once and for all.
‘While we are disappointed to see…exit the online casino business, we respect…decision, which was made in light of the uncertain regulatory environment in the online gaming industry,’ said CEO of the online casino group, Manu Gambhir. This does come as a surprise to the devoted online casino fans the online gambling group boasted, and surely many, if not all, were disappointed to learn of this development.
In an age of uncertainty in the online casino industry, more and more online gambling firms are backing out of this market, especially within US borders. So much is yet unknown for the online casino sector and many Internet gambling companies are playing it safe by closing their doors and backing out of this business venture. What the future holds for the online casino industry is unclear, and will probably always be so. However, no matter how many online gambling groups leave this competitive arena, there are those online casino groups that will persevere and lead the world of online casinos.
