Online casino sites for Mac users who reside in the US are claimed to be few and far between now that the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act has been passed, forcing many online casinos to cease US operations. This is definitely bad news for American online casino fans. Some online casino sites have even made modifications regarding Mac users to ensure the casinos reflect US rules and which online gambling sites it accepts, and which it does not.
The online casino ban devastated many online gamblers in the US. However, Mac users, both poker players and online gambling fans, were hit especially hard. There is only one major brand still accepting US online casino players with two other mildly popular casinos still taking Mac users from the US. This is especially painful for many Mac online casino enthusiasts because of the amount of time it took for Macs to be a legitimate outlet for online casino play.
That being said, it is easy to see why Mac online casino users would be more affected than other online casino fans. After finally entering the online casino world and enjoying all that this industry has to offer, online gambling Mac users have to once again be in the dark. With so much on offer at online casinos, it is hard for these players to accept that their computers are what are blocking them from great play at online casinos outside of the US.
